What is India Poker Ranking?
The India Poker Ranking (IPR) is a first of its’ kind online system that ranks India’s online tournament poker players as on the day it is published. Players are tracked and ranked daily based on their performance by finishing in cash positions in qualifying online poker tournaments occurring every day on the leading online poker websites – Adda52, Poker Baazi, The Spartan Poker, Poker Ninja, FTR Poker and MadOverPoker. Each player’s aggregate ranking is called the Leadership Board Point (LBP).
Our motto here at IPR, is to create a distinct, integrated ranking platform covering the online tournament poker industry in India, in its entirety.
Do the Indian poker sites provide you with results?
No. India Poker Ranking independently collects and collates the publicly available results of tournaments, from the lobbies of the above said poker sites.
Which websites tournament results does IPR support?
At the moment, IPR tracks results of qualifying tournaments happening on six Indian sites, which are – Adda52, Poker Baazi, The Spartan Poker, Poker Ninja, FTR Poker and MadOverPoker.
How does India Poker Ranking define Qualifying Tournaments?
Qualifying events are online poker tournaments with a Guaranteed real money prize pool, with a minimum buy-in of INR 600/- excluding any registration fee, that are open to the public, and are not specialty or selected audience events such as charity, seniors, doubles, ladies etc.
How often is the Leaderboard updated?
The leaderboards (All-time and Monthly) are updated at least daily, although new players can be added at any time.
When does the All-Time Leaderboard’s result begin from?
On our all-time Leaderboard, each player’s individual IPR score is an aggregate of scores in events from November 1st 2017, which is the date we launched on.
Why didn’t some of my tournament results get captured?
Although India Poker Ranking tries it’s best to capture all qualifying tournament details, unfortunately, occasionally, some results get missed. We are constantly working to improve the efficiency of the result capturing. If you wish to report a missing game, please contact us on support@indiapokerranking.com.
Does IPR cover cash games?
No. India Poker Ranking focuses on tournaments only.
My LBP has not changed, I fear something has been missed. How do I find out?
Please contact us on support@indiapokerranking.com and we will have any missing results added.
What is the formula IPR uses to calculate results?
Leader Board Points = (((No. of unique players / Rank in tournament)*(1+(LN(1+( Tournament Prize Pool / No. of Unique Entries)))/1000
How do I change/ add/ update my screen names?
